As part of the welcome activities, the students of the International Program in Medicine participated in a trip to the excavation site and museum of ancient Eleutherna, the first archeological museum of the University of Crete, home of the fruits of a 30 year excavation at the site of ancient Eleutherna, south of Rethymno. Students had the opportunity to experience a guided tour from the faculty of the department of Archeology of the University of Crete.
