Research Interests
Kritsotakis’ research interests focus on biostatistical principles and methods for the design, analysis, and reporting of clinical and epidemiological studies in acute care hospitals and other healthcare settings. His main research interests include:
• Design and analysis of aetiologic and prognostic clinical studies using survival analysis methods.
• Development, validation and implementation of clinical prediction models and algorithms.
• Evaluation of clinical and population interventions with quasi-experimental studies, interrupted time series designs, and controlled randomized trials.
• Systematic reviews and meta-analyses of epidemiological studies
• Interdisciplinary research in the clinical epidemiology of infections, multi-drug-resistant microorganisms and antimicrobial drugs.
